Renée Fleming, Leah Crocetto, and Quinn Kelsey Headline Streamed Performances from The Kennedy Center

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts has released the upcoming schedule for its digital programming.

Among the broadcasts is Couch Concerts, the center’s digital performance initiative which will feature a number of showcases with groups such as the U.S. Army Chorus and Washington National Opera. Also streaming is Renee Fleming’s new series “Music and the Mind Live.”

The schedule includes the final episode of “Thank You Thursdays!” a new series hosted by the Kennedy Center’s first Education Artist-in-Residence, Mo Willems. He will partner with Grammy Award-winning artist Yo-Yo Ma for the premiere of “The Yo-Yo Mo Show: An Evening of Musical Doodling.”

Couch Concerts: Washington National Opera Present “Visit with Verdi.” Operatic stars Leah Crocetto and Quinn Kelsey come together for a recital and interview with WNO’s artistic director Francesca Zambello.

National Symphony Orchestra: Portraits of America. A program featuring works from Bernstein, Copland, Gershwin, and more; conducted by Gianandrea Noseda, with pianist Jon Kimura Parker, and Emmy Award-winning actress Phylicia Rashad.
