Renée Fleming, Laquita Mitchell, David Pomeroy, Maya Kherani, Susan Platts Headline Rhode Island Philharmonic’s 2022-23 Season

The Rhode Island Philharmonic has announced its 2022-23 season.

For the purposes of this article, our focus will be solely on vocal performances.

Christine Noel will lead Händel’s “Messiah,” which will feature the Providence Singers and soloists Maya Kherani, Emily Marvosh, Brian Giebler, and Andrew Garland.

Performance Date: Dec. 4, 2022

Later in the season, the company will present Verdi’s “Requiem” in a performance starring Laquita Mitchell, Susan Platts, David Pomeroy, and Kevin Deas.

Performance Dates: May 5 & 6, 2023

There will also be an annual gala concert starring soprano Renée Fleming.

Performance Date: June 3, 2023
