Festival Napa Valley has announced its 2026 summer season, which runs from July 4–19, 2026.

The season opens with Festival Live! Concerts, a series of daily performances showcasing Festival artists in rotating programs presented in partnership with the Frost School of Music’s Blackburn Music Academy at CIA at Copia.

Festival Napa Valley presents Opera Scenes, featuring the Manetti Shrem Opera Fellows alongside the Young People’s Chorus of New York City and Festival Orchestra Napa in a curated program of operatic excerpts.

Performance Date: July 8, 2026


The annual Novack Concert for Kids features the Young People’s Chorus of New York City in a program designed to introduce young audiences to live performance.

Performance Date: July 9, 2026


The festival hosts a Music and Wellness Summit, bringing together musicians, neuroscientists, and wellness experts, with soprano Renée Fleming appearing as keynote speaker.

The Uytengsu Family Opening Night: From Beethoven to Getty to Dylan features Time for Three and the Young People’s Chorus of New York City with Festival Orchestra Napa conducted by Steve Hackman, presented at the Festival Napa Valley Stage at Charles Krug.

Renée Fleming returns to the festival with “Voice of Nature: The Anthropocene,” a program inspired by her Grammy-winning project exploring humanity’s relationship with the natural world, paired with a multimedia film created by National Geographic and performed with Festival Orchestra Napa.

Festival Napa Valley presents a Bouchaine Young Artist Concert, showcasing emerging musicians in an intimate vineyard setting.

An Art Song Recital is presented by Lisa Delan and Friends at the Jarvis Conservatory.

Festival Napa Valley presents “Maria Manetti Celebrates La Dolce Vita! A Tribute to Luciano Pavarotti,” featuring winners of the Pavarotti International Voice Competition performing with Festival Orchestra Napa.

Another Bouchaine Young Artist Concert is presented at CIA at Copia.

Performance Date: July 15, 2026


The season includes the world premiere of “The Judgment of Paris,” a one-act opera by Jake Heggie and Gene Scheer, featuring Danielle de Niese, Quinn Kelsey, Nicholas Phan, Simone McIntosh, and Brenda Rae, with Festival Orchestra Napa conducted by Kent Nagano and directed by Jean-Romain Vesperini.
