The Verbier Festival has announced its 2026 season. Here is a look at the vocal performances.

Esa-Pekka Salonen leads the Final Scene from “Götterdämmerung” with Michelle DeYoung. The program also includes Messiaen’s “Turangalîla-Symphoni” with Cécile Lartigau and Lucas Debargue.

Gábor Takács-Nagy conducts Mozart’s “Così fan tutte” with Johanna Wallroth, Rebecka Wallroth, Anna El-Khashem, Giovanni Sala, Konstantin Krimmel, and Sir Bryn Terfel.

Anna El-Khashem, Johanna Wallroth, Rebecka Wallroth, Giovanni Sala, Konstantin Krimmel, James Baillieu, and Caroline Dowdle lead a Schumann and Brahms program.

Performance Date: July 21, 2026

Magdalena Kožená performs Schumann’s “Dichterliebe,” Op. 48 with Martha Argerich. There will also be piano music performed by Alexandre Kantorow.

Daniel Harding conducts music by Hartmann, Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick, and Rachmaninoff. Joshua Bell and Bryn Terfel are the soloists.

“Bluebeard’s Castle” Sz. 48 will star Magdalena Kožená and Gerald Finley. Sir Simon Rattle conducts the program, which also includes Mozart’s Symphony No. 38 in D major K. 504 “Prague.”
