Renata Tebaldi Fondazione Presents Tebaldi100

By Francisco Salazar

The Renata Tebaldi Fondazione Museo is set to celebrate Renata Tebladi’s 100th anniversary throughout the entirety of 2022.

The soprano, who was one of the greatest sopranos of her generation and died in 2005, was a symbol for Italy and with her upcoming centennial on Feb. 1, the foundation, dedicated to the soprano, will showcase concerts, lectures, studies, presentations, and more under the name Tebaldi100.

The foundation hopes to integrate many art forms throughout the many activities it intends to present.

Events will take place in Busetto, Parma, New York, Paris, Laussane, Chicago, Montreal, and many more. Among the special programs will be a documentary on Rai 5 and a new special edition of the soprano’s discography on Decca Classics. The Metropolitan Opera will also participate with a special photo exhibition at the Istituto Italiano di Cultura di New York.
