Reginald Mobley Headlines Philharmonia Orchestra’s ‘Garden of Good & Evil’

The Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra is set to present “Garden of Good & Evil” at Kaufmann Concert Hall in New York City on Jan. 25, 2024.

The event features music by Händel, Errollyn Wallen, and Tarik O’Regan. Countertenor Reginald Mobley headlines the performance with Richard Egarr leading the ensemble.

Mobley has performed with such organizations as Minnesota Opera, The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, the Handel & Haydn Society, New Vision Arts Festival, the Monteverdi Choir, Washington Bach Consort, Seraphic Fire, and Pacific MusicWorks, among others. This season, the countertenor performs with the Philadelphia Orchestra, Handel and Haydn Society, Coro Allegro, and Muziekcentrum De Bijlike.

The Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra opened its 2023-24 season with a performance of the work to open its 2023-24 season with Mobley as dramaturg and Tim Mead as the soloist. The organization  is also set to present “Double Espresso,” “Coffee & Cake,” and “Romantic Radiance” in 2024.
