Regina Opera Releases Second Part of 50th Anniversary Gala

The Regina Opera has announced the second part of its 50th-anniversary concert.

The second part of the concert, which was recorded in November 2020 in New York features “Sola, perduta, abbandonata” from “Manon Lescaut,” “Vesti la giubba” from “I Pagliacci,” “Ch’ella mi creda” from “La Fanciulla del West,” “Sempre libera” from “La Traviata,” and “Mon cœur s’ouvre à ta voix” from “Samson et Dalila.” Other arias and songs include the Veil Song from “Don Carlos,” Vissi d’arte from “Tosca,” “Ritorna vincitor” and “O patria mia” from “Aida” and “Torna a Surriento.”

Regina Opera artists who performed on the gala include Paolo Buffagni, Taerra Pence, Kimberly Lloyd, Dilara Unsal, Lara Tillotson, and Dmitry Glivinskiy.

The Regina Opera previously released the first part of the gala which included music by Verdi, Mozart, Puccini, Mascagni, and Humperdinck.
