Regina Opera has announced that it will be showcasing an Opera + Pops Concert on Sept. 22, 2019 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Brooklyn, New York.

The two-hour concert will feature performances by such artists as sopranos Taerra Pence and Elena Jannicelli-Sandella, mezzo-soprano Galina Ivannikova, tenor Peter Hakjoon Kim, baritone Jonathan R. Green, and pianist Victoria Ulanovskaya. The soloists will perform Broadway hits and other popular vocal fare.

The performance will also feature two world premieres by Maxine Feldman with soprano Noni Donato and violinist Susanna Stein.

Regina Opera is gearing up for its 50^th season, during which the company will showcase Bizet’s famed “Carmen” as well as two Puccini classics: “Gianni Schicchi,” and “Turandot;” “Gianni Schicchi” will be paired with a Golden Jubilee Concert.
