Regina Opera Announces Free Summer Concert at Raymour & Flanigan

New York’s Regina Opera is set to present a free summer concert on August 20, 2023.

The 90-minute showcase, which is scheduled to take place at 3 p.m. at the Raymour & Flanigan Furniture Showroom at the Rentar Plaza Mall in Middle Village in New York, will feature such artists as Tate Chu, Cate Webber, Josh Avant, Nikhil Krishna, Richard Paratley, and Catharine Miller.

Audiences will get a chance to hear opera arias and ensembles from such works as “La Bohème” and “La Traviata,” among others.

This coming season the company is set to present productions of “Rigoletto” in November, followed by “Lucia di Lammermoor” in May 2024. Both will be directed by Sabrina Palladino with the Verdi opera set to be conducted by Scott Jackson Wiley; the Donizetti work will be led by conductor Teresa Cheung. The company will also present an opera in March 2024 that has yet to be announced.
