Regents Opera Names New Chief Development Officer

Regents Opera has announced some major personnel updates.

The organization revealed that Joe Harper is the company’s new Chief Development Officer. Additionally, Harper, who is also a professional oboist will also join the orchestra as an oboist in performances of “Das Rheingold.”

Per an official release issued by the company, Harper will joins the organization on a freelance, one day a week basis. He has over seven years of experience in fundraising, working with the Royal Opera House and Royal College of Music.

“Joining Regents Opera at this time is hugely exciting. I write, currently performing in English Touring Opera’s Spring tour of the UK. This current experience, notwithstanding my time at the Royal Opera House has galvanised my desire and passion for high quality opera such as Regents Opera to succeed,” Harper said in the official press statement.  “I am looking forward to developing a number of new avenues to support Regents Opera in general, but particularly around our Ring Cycles which I look forward to sharing with you all next month.”
