Ramón Vargas, Anna Caterina Antonacci & Leo Nucci Highlight Teatro Regio di Parma’s Verdi Streaming Festival

The Teatro Regio di Parma has extended its Verdi streaming Festival adding new works.

It all starts with I Vespri Siciliani in a production starring Leo Nucci, Fabio Armiliato, Giacomo Prestia, and Daniela Dessi. Massimo Zanetti conducts the 2010 production.

Streaming Dates: April 20-21, 2020

It follows with Verdi’s Giovanna d’Arco” starring Vittoria Yeo, Luciano Ganci, Vittorio Vitelli, and Gabreille Mangione. Ramon Tebar conducts the 2016 production.

Streaming Dates: April 22-23, 2020

The 2010 production of “Un Giorno di Regno” continues the streaming festival. The production stars Guido Loconsolo, Anna Caterina Antonacci, Alessandra Marianello, Andrea Port, Paolo Bordogna, and Ivan Magri. Donzato Renzetti conducts.

Streaming Dates: April 25-26, 2020

Ramón Vargas, Michele Pertusi, and Annick Massis lead a 2017 production of “Jerusalem” with Danielle Callegari conducting.

Streaming Dates: April 28-29, 2020

The series ends with a 2018 production of “Il Trovatore in French. Giuseppe Gipali, Franco Vassallo, Roberta Mantegna, and Nino Surguladze star with Roberto Abbado conducting.
