Rai 5 and Rai Cultura are set to present the Teatro alla Scala’s production of Dvořák’s “Rusalka.”

The production will be shown on Oct. 19 in a production by Emma Dante, which premiered back in June.

Dante’s production marked the first time the Teatro alla Scala showed Dvořák’s famed opera which premiered 122 years ago in Prague

Tomáš Hanus conducts the recording, which stars Olga Bezsmertna in the title role and Dmitry Korchak as the Prince. The cast also includes Elena Guseva as the foreign princess, Okka von der Damerau as Ježibaba, and Jongmin Park as Vodník.

The cast is rounded out by Jiří Rajniš, Svetlina Stoyanova, Hila Fahima, Juliana Grigoryan, Valentina Pluzhnikova, and Ilya Silchukou.
