San Francisco Performances has unveiled its 2023-24 season.

For the purposes of this article, our focus will be solely on vocal performances.

Tenor Ian Bostridge will perform Schubert’s “Winterreise.”

Performance Date: Oct. 21, 2023

Mezzo-soprano Raehann Bryce-Davis will present a program featuring the music of Amy Beach, Wagner, Melissa Dunphy, Margaret Bonds, Florence Price, Maria Thompson Corley, and Peter Ashbourne.

Performance Date: Jan. 27, 2024 

Tenor Lawrence Brownlee and pianist Kevin Miller will showcase “Rising” with music by Margaret Bonds, Damien Sneed, Shawn Okpebholo, Joel Thompson, Jeremiah Evans, Robert Owens, and Carlos Simon.

Performance Date: Feb. 29, 2024

Closing out the vocal edition of San Francisco Performances’ 2023-24 season, tenor Ilker Arcayürek and pianist Simon Lepper will spotlight music by Beethoven, Schumann, Mendelssohn, Hahn, Strauss, Brahms, and Fauré, among others.
