The Los Angeles Opera has announced the April 27-May 1 slate for its LAO at Home program.

On Monday, April 27, the company will present a Living Room Recital starring mezzo-soprano Raehann Bryce-Davis starting at 4 p.m. PDT. She will perform several selections, including Amy Beach’s “Three Browning Songs.”

Tuesday, April 28 will bring “Opera Happy Hour” with Jeremy Frank. This episode, known as “Dance Party,” will show how composers use dance in such operas as “Carmen” and “Don Giovanni.”

Another Living Room Recital will be presented on Thursday April 30, 2020. This time audiences can check out mezzo-soprano Taylor Raven alongside trumpeter Ryan Raven. The recital kicks off at 4 p.m. PDT.

On Friday, the company will present Du Yun and Royce Vavrek’s “Angel’s Bone.” The work will be presented starting at 8 p.m. PDT.
