Rai Radio 3 is set to broadcast performances from the XXI Festival Verdi for three days.

Audiences will get a chance to hear performances from the festival on Jan. 31, Feb 12, and March 26.

On Jan. 31, Rai Radio 3 will present a symphonic concert directed by Roberto Abbado featuring excerpts from “Oberto, Conte di San Bonifacio,” “Il finto Stanislao,” “I Lombardi alla prima Crociata,” “Giovanna d’Arco,” and “Nabucco.”

On Feb. 12, audiences will get to hear “Un ballo in maschera” with Piero Pretti, Anna Pirozzi, Amartuvshin Enkhbat, Anna Maria Chiuri, and Giuliana Gianfaldoni. Roberto Abbado conducts.

On March 26, the radio station will broadcast “Simon Boccanegra” with Igor Golovatenko, Angela Meade, Riccardo Della Sciucca, Michele Pertusi, Andrea Pellegrini, and Sergio Vitale. Michele Mariotti conduct.
