The Musco Center for Performing Arts has announced that Quinn Kelsey will star in “Roberto Devereux in Concert” on Feb. 25, 2020.

Kelsey is stepping into this performance, as well the LA Opera production, in lieu of Plácido Domingo’s exit. Kelsey joins a cast that includes Davinia Rodriguez in her role debut as Elisabetta, Ramón Vargas in the title role, and Alice Coote.

Kelsey is set to make his LA Opera debut with this opera. Other highlights of his 2019-20 season include a recent series of performances of “Luisa Miller” with the Lyric Opera of Chicago. He will also be returning to the Metropolitan Opera for “La Traviata” and will also take part in the company’s New Year’s Eve gala.

He will also perform “I Vespri Siciliani” at the Opernhaus Zürich.
