Quinn Kelsey, Sasha Cooke & Russell Thomas Lead Baltimore Symphony Orchestra’s 2025-26 Season

The Baltimore Symphony has announced its 2025-26 season. Here is a look at the vocal performances.

Music Director Jonathon Heyward conducts Dukas’ “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” and Scriabin’s “Prometheus: Poem of Fire,” alongside Ravel’s “Daphnis et Chloé: Suite No. 2” and Mussorgsky’s “Night on Bald Mountain.” The concert features George Li and the University of Maryland Concert Choir.

Performance Dates: Nov. 6-9, 2025

Patrick Quigley conducts celebrates Christmas with soloists Maya Kherani and James Reese. The program includes Charpentier’s Prelude from “Te Deum,” Mozart’s “Exsultate, jubilate,” Bach’s Orchestral Suite No. 4, and excerpts from Händel’s “Messiah.”

Performance Date: Dec. 17, 2025

Stuart Chafetz conducts a Holiday Pops concert with the Baltimore Choral Arts Society.

Performance Dates: Dec 20 & 21, 2025

Jonathon Heyward conducts Mahler’s “Das lied von der Erde,” Dvořák’s “In Nature’s Realm,” and the world premiere of Grace-Evangeline Mason’s new work. Sasha Cooke and Russell Thomas are the soloists.

Performance Date: March 8, 2026

Verdi’s “Rigoletto” will be performed with Jonathan Heyward conducting. The cast will include Quinn Kelsey, Raven McMillon, Andrew Owens, Peixin Chen, J’Nai Bridges, and Christian Pursell.

Performance Dates: June 12 & 14, 2026
