Quinn Kelsey, Paula Murrihy, Saimir Pirgu & Fleuranne Brockway Lead Hessische Staatstheater Wiesbaden’s 2025-26 Season

The Hessische Staatstheater Wiesbaden has announced its 2025-26 season.

Premieres 

Gershwin’s “Summertime” will star Fleuranne Brockway, Inna Fedorii, Hovhannes Karapetyan, Josefine Mindus, Alyona Rostovskaya, Joshua Sanders, and Camille Sherman. Leo McFall conducts.

Premiere Date: August 30, 2025


Menotti’s “The Telephone” will be performed in a double bill with Monteverdi’s “­Il combattimento.” Tim Hawken conducts the production by Kilian Bohnensack.

Premiere Date: Oct. 8, 2025


Sarah Yang and Galina Benevich lead Verdi’s “La Traviata” with Katleho Mokhoabane, Joshua Sanders, Saimir Pirgu, Sam Park, and Quinn Kelsey. Leo McFall conducts the production by Tom Goossens.

Premiere Date: Nov. 1, 2025


The company is set to present “Alles Liebe!” in a production by Anna Weber. Paul Taubitz conducts a cast that includes Silvia Hauer, Fabian-Jakob Balkhausen, Alyona Rostovskaya, Fleuranne Brockway, Joshua Sanders, Danai Simantiri, Jonathan Macker, Kelly Heelton, and Sascha Zarrabi.

Josefine” will feature a new production by Clara Freitag.

Rimsky-Korsakov’s “The Snow Maiden” will star Josefine Mindus, Camille Sherman, Young Doo Park, Sascha Zarrabi, Aïste Benkauskaite, Fleuranne Brockway, Alyona Rostovskaya, Jaeyoung Ha, Richard Trey Smagur, and Nathan Bryon. Leo McFall conducts the new production by Maxim Didenko.

Inna Fedorii, Jack Lee, Sarah Yang, Hovhannes Karapetyan, Silvia Hauer, Joshua Sanders, Fabian-Jakob Balkhausen, Charles Buttigieg, and Jonathan Macker star in Donizetti’s “La Mamma!” Paul Taubitz conducts the new production by Wolfgang Nägele.

Premiere Date: Feb. 7, 2026


Walter Braunfels’ “Die Vögel” will star Young Doo Park, Jonathan Macker, Sam Park, Josefine Mindus, Galina Benevich, Richard Trey Smagur, Hovhannes Karapetyan, and Nathan Bryon. Paul Taubitz conducts the production by Ersan Mondtag.

Leo McFall conducts a new production of Wagner’s “Tristan und Isolde” directed by Tiago Rodrigues. Young Doo Park and Richard Trey Smagur star.

Holger Reinhardt conducts Rossini’s “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” in a revival of Nikolaus Habjan.

Mozart’s “Die Zauberflöte” will be conducted by Albert Horne. Katleho Mokhoabane, Sarah Yang, Jonathan Macker, Celine Mun, Sam Park, Priya Pariyachart, and Nathan Bryon star.

KammerKonzert

Sascha Zarrabi performs works by Schumann and Brahms. The concert also includes musicians Adrian Krämer, Anne-Catherine Eibel, Zion Lee, Eleanor Kendra James, and Tobias Fischer.
