By Dejan Vukosavljevic

The PROTOTYPE Festival has announced programming updates and new COVID-19 safety protocols for the audiences. The festival is set to take place between Jan 7 – 16, 2022.

All visitors will have to present a proof of full vaccination status and a picture ID. Additionally, the audiences must show a negative PCR test taken at least 72 hours before the performance or a negative rapid test taken within 12 hours of the scheduled show. KN95 masks are mandatory at all times.

Additionally, the company revealed that the All Sing “Here Lies Joy” has been postponed to a future date yet to be announced.

“The spirit of the piece is one of celebrating our voices coming together in one huge public gathering to tap into the joy of singing. And while we wish it wasn’t so, now is not the time to hold massive gatherings. But there will be a time, and when that time comes, PROTOTYPE will be there to offer this incredible, uplifting, communal event,” said the festival in an official press release.
