Prima Classic Announces Marina Rebeka’s Fourth Solo Album
By Francisco SalazarPrima Classic has announced Marina Rebeka’s fourth solo album “Elle.”
The new album will celebrate the diversity of the female roles in some of the greatest French Opera Arias of the canon including Charpentier’s “Louise,” Gonoud’s “Romeo et Juliette,” Massenet’s “Thaïs,” Bizet’s “Carmen” and “The Pearl Fishers,” Massenet’s “Le Cid,” Debussy’s “L’Enfant Prodigue” and Gonoud’s “Faust.”
In the new recording Rebeka is joined by Sinfonieorchester St. Gallen (Switzerland) and conductor Michael Balke.
This will mark the fourth release for Prima Classic which launched in 2018 with Mariana Rebeka’s “Spirito” and followed with Levy Sekgapane’s first solo album. The company also recorded a complete “La Traviata” with Rebeka in the title role and Charles Catsronovo.
“Elle” is set for release on March 20, 2020
