Pretty Yende has canceled her participation in a concert with Nadine Sierra on April 6, 2025, at the Gran Teatre del Liceu.

The company said that for personal reasons Yende will no longer participate. As a result, Nadine Sierra will perform alone.

The program was set to include arias and duets by Mozart, Bellini, Verdi, Gounod, Delibes, Mascagni, Puccini, Leoncavallo, Chapí, Giménez, Herbert, Velázquez, and Bernstein.

Sierra recently performed “L’Elisir d’Amore” at the Wiener Staatsoper and “Roméo et Juliette” at the Teatro di San Carlo. She is set to perform “La Sonnambula” at the Gran Teatre del Liceu.

The Orquestra Simfònica del Gran Teatre del Liceu will be conducted by Pablo Mielgo.

Yende is currently performing at the Teatro Real in “Mitridate” and is set to perform “Lucia di Lammermoor” at the Semperoper Dresden.
