The Presidio Theatre has announced its 2024 winter / spring season.

For the purposes of this article we will only focus on the opera and classical vocal performances, some of which may have been previously announced in another article.

Patricia Racette and Craig Terry will present “Patricia Sings Piaf.”

“For me, Piaf is a shining example through words and music. Great artist. Great actor. Great chanteuse,” Racette said in an official press statement. “I want to evoke Piaf without ever crossing the line of trying to imitate her. I want to create an experience.”

Performance Date: April 19, 2024

Music of Remembrance will present the world premiere of “Before It All Goes Dark.” The Jake Heggie-Gene Scheer work will star bass-baritone Ryan McKinny and mezzo-soprano Megan Marino with Joseph Mechavich conducting.

Performance Date: May 22, 2024

Presidio Theatre and Opera Parallèle will present “Fellow Travelers” by Gregory Spears and Greg Pierce.

Performance Date: June 21 – 23, 2024
