Prague Summer Nights to Present ‘Le Nozze di Figaro’ in Washington D.C. Area

The Prague Summer Nights Young Artists Music Festival is set to perform Mozart’s “Le Nozze di Figaro” in the Washington D.C. area starting on June 2, 2022.

Led by Artistic Director John Nardolillo, the presentations will be produced by Classical Movements. Audiences will hear members of the Prague Summer Nights Young Artists Music Program and the Washington National Opera Cafritz Young Artists.

Artists include Henry Griffin as the Count Almaviva, Catherine Clark Nardolillo as the Countess, Christian Simmons as Figaro, Emily O’Connor as Susanna, Kate Morton as Cherubino, Vincent Fung as Bartolo, Dylan Godbey as Don Basilio, Jordan Gilbert as Barbarina, Kristin Lawler as Marcellina, and Elijah Cineas as Antonio.

The first performance will take place at The Rectory in Alexandria on June 2, 2022. That will be followed by a June 3 performance in Washington D.C., with the final one, set for June 4, taking place back at The Rectory.
