
Portland Opera Announces New Board President & Other Board Promotions

First off, the company announced the election of Kregg Arntson as its new Board President. Arntson, who has served on the Portland Opera board since 2016 and is the Director of Community Impact and Executive Director of the PGE Foundation, will be tasked in his new role with maintaining the company’s financial stability, expanding audience reach, and advocating for the cultural, educational, and economic value of opera in the region.
Moreover, the company announced that, in a unanimous election, board members Linda Brown, Christine Lewis, Larry Roper, and Carol Turner were promoted to the offices of Treasurer, two Vice Presidents, and Secretary, respectively.
Portland Opera also announced the addition of three new board members, including Laura Howe, Accounting Manager at OnPoint Community Credit Union, Ayaka Jones, Senior Account Executive at FINN Partners, and Vanessa Valencia, Vice President of Financial Planning Analysis at OnPoint Community Credit Union.
