The Portland Opera has announced the “Live from the Hampton Opera Center” Virtual Recital Series.

These performances will spotlight artists familiar to Portland audiences and will each be an hour-long. They will also be broadcast live from the Hampton Opera Center, Portland Opera’s home in Southeast Portland, where featured artists can follow health and distance protocols.

The series begins with a recital by soprano Katrina Galka and pianist Nicholas Fox.

Performance Date: Oct. 21, 2020

The second recital will be by mezzo-soprano Camille Sherman and pianist Jessica Hall.

Performance Date: Nov. 11, 2020

Martin Bakari joins pianist Nicholas Fox for the third recital in the series.

Performance Date: Nov. 18, 2020

Local composer and Artistic Advisor Damien Geter will perform alongside pianist Kira Whiting.

Performance Date: Dec. 2, 2020

The final recital of the series will be by soprano Vanessa Isiguenand pianist Nicholas Fox.

Performance Date: Dec. 9, 2020
