The Polish National Opera is set to stream Verdi’s “Rigoletto” on May 16, 23, and 30.

The production by Gilberto Deflo stars Jorge Lagunes in the title role, Ho-Yoon Chung as the Duke of Mantua, Aleksandra Kubas-Kruk as Gilda, Łukasz Konieczny as Sparafucile and Anna Bernacka as Anna Bernacka.

The performance is led by Maestro Patrick Fournillier.

“Rigoletto” continues a series of livestreams the company has presented throughout the past month since the closure due to the coronavirus outbreak. The Polish National Opera previously presented “Halka,” “Paria,” “Tosca,” “Carmen” and celebrated Stanisław Moniuszko’s 201 Birthday.
