Pocket Opera Unveils 2025 Season

San Francisco’s Pocket Opera has unveiled its 2025 season.

The season opens with “The Marriage of Figaro,” with three performances at Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, Hillside Club, and the Legion of Honor in San Francisco. The opera stars Morgan Balfour as Susanna, Andrew Pardini as Figaro, Julia Mulholland as the Countess, Spencer Dodd as the Count, and Nina Jones as Cherubino. Marika Yasuda is the music director and Sergey Khaliklov will direct it.

Performance Dates: Feb. 21  – March 2, 2025

Next up is a double bill of “Bastien and Bastiennee” and “A Pocket Magic Flute” at the Legion of Honor in San Francisco. Lynne Morrow conducts.

Performance Dates: April 13, 2025

Next up is Mechem’s “Tartuffe” starring Shawnette Sulker, Isaiah Musik-Ayala, and Eugene Brancoveanu. Nicolas A. Garcia directs and Kyle Naig conducts.

Performance Dates: June 15 – 29, 2025

The season ends with “La Vie Parisienne,’ starring Phoebe Dinga as Metella, Andrew Metzger as Gardefeu, Nathanael Fleming as Bobinet, and Drag superstar Lady Camden as Madame Dublin. Paul Schrage conducts and Phil Lowery directs.

Performance Dates: July 13 – 27, 2025
