The Palace of the Republic of Minsk has rescheduled a gala with Plácido Domingo.

The concert, which is now set for Dec. 9, will showcase Domingo at the Great Hall performing  popular arias. It was originally scheduled for April 19, 2020 but postponed due to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.

Domingo recently joined forces with Rafael Nadal and Pau Gasol in backing a relief fund to help the Red Cross during the panademic. He urged his 1.1 million Facebook followers to donate in supporting the cause.

Earlier in March, Domingo was diagnosed with the Coronavirus and was hospitalized. The singer was discharged on March 30 and sent to recover at home.

Domingo is set to open the Donizetti Opera Festival in November and returns to the Teatro alla Scala for performances of “La Traviata.”
