Placido Domingo will receive a prestigious award at the CC Forum “Investment in Sustainable Development” in Monaco.

The aim of CC Forum is to get together leading institutional and private investors, policymakers, thought leaders, and innovative startups united in their zeal to change the current economic paradigm and effectively make the world a better place. It is the only global investment forum that is entirely focused on sustainable development.

This year Domingo will receive the highest honor in the presence of HSH Prince Albert II Grimaldi of Monaco on Sept. 25 during the closing gala. He will be honored for his contributions made to CC Forum’s causes.

Domingo is currently performing at the Wiener Staatsoper in a production of “Simon Boccanegra” and is set to return to the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino for “Nabucco” in October. This season, he will also perform at the Bolshoi Theatre, Opera de Monte-Carlo, and Teatro alla Scala.
