Pittsburgh Opera to Present ‘Soldier Songs’

The Pittsburgh Opera will continue its 82nd  season with six performances of David T. Little’s “Soldier Songs.”

Performances, which are scheduled from Dec. 5 through 17, will be held on at its headquarters at 2425 Liberty Avenue in Pittsburgh’s Strip District with the Dec. 11 performance live-streamed on the company’s YouTube and Facebook page.

The production will star Yazid Gray and will be conducted by Mark Trawka. Kaley Karis Smith will direct the production

Pittsburgh Opera will continue its live performances with a socially distanced audience following all sanitary precautions and all people entering the Pittsburgh Opera Headquarters required to wear face coverings while in the building in accordance with the Order of the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Health Requiring Universal Face Coverings dated July 1st, 2020.
