Pittsburgh Opera to Present ‘Fellow Travelers’ for the First Time

Pittsburgh Opera is set to present its first-ever performances of “Fellow Travelers.”

The work is based on the acclaimed novel by Thomas Mallon, which also inspired the Paramount+ Limited TV Series of the same name.

The opera, which is written by Gregory Spears and Greg Pierce, will star Erik Nordstrom, Logan Wagner, Shannon Crowley, Lauryn Davis, Yazid Gray, Audrey Welsh, Matthew Soibelman, Daniel Teadt, and Joel Balzun. Antony Walker conducts the production by Brian Staufenbiel.

“Fellow Travelers” will be performed on Nov. 14, 15, and 16, 2025. There will be pre-performance talks one hour before each performance start time.
