The Fundación Baluarte has announced its 2022-23 Season featuring ballet, theater, opera, and concerts.

Here is a look at the vocal performances of the season.

Emilio Arrieta’s “San Franco de Sena” will be performed in concert form with Alejandro Roy, Beatriz Díaz, Javier Franco, Frederic Jost, Julen Jiménez, Itsaso Loinaz, and Patricio Poncela. José Miguel Pérez Sierra conducts.

Performance Date: Oct. 20, 2022

Julia Doyle, Tim Mead, Thomas Hobbs, and Roderick Williams perform Händel’s “Messiah” under the direction of Justin Doyle.

Performance Date: Dec. 22, 2022

Miren Urbieta-Vega and Airam Hernández lead Puccini’s “La Bohème” alongside Javier Franco, Raquel Lojendio, Toni Marsol, Manuel Fuentes, and Julen Jiménez. Emilio Sagi directs and Ivan López Reynoso conducts.

Performance Dates: Feb. 3 & 5, 2023

Berit Norbakken, Esther Kuiper, Kieran Carell, and Henk Neven star in Haydn’s “The Creation” with Daniel Reuss conducting.

Performance Date: March 19, 2023

Piotr Beczala joins the Orquesta Sinfónica de Navarra and Óliver Díaz for a program of music by Giuseppe Verdi, Giacomo Puccini, Pietro Mascagni, and Andrea Chénier.
