Philadelphia Fringe Festival to Present ‘Here Be Siren’s

Philadelphia Fringe Opera is set to present Kate Soper’s “Here Be Sirens” on Sept. 7 – 9 at the Great Hall at Neighborhood House in Phialdelphia.

The opera, which tells the story of three silens who are cursed to allure killers, stars Melanie Culhane, Megnot Toggia, and Rachel DiBlasio. Anastassia Vertjanova directs a production that is presented within an art installation create in collaboration with painters Marley Edelman and Eva Samuels.

Audience members will get a chance to walk through the exhibition following the performance of the opera.

“Here Be Sirens” was previously presented by such companies as Fresh Squeezed Opera and In Series.
