PBS has announced that it will start broadcasting “Great Performances at the Met: Three Divas at Versailles” on Oct. 8, 2021 at 10 p.m.

The showcase, which was recorded back in May at the Royal Opera of Versailles, stars Ailyn Pérez, Isabel Leonard, and Nadine Sierra, is hosted by soprano Christine Goerke, and directed by Gary Halvorson.

In the performance, the three artists perform a wide range of music by such composers as Mozart, Offenbach, and Bizet as well as Latin American classics such as “Bésame Mucho” and “Cielito Lindo.”

The concert was last in the long-running series of performances that kicked off in the summer of 2020 with a showcase headlined by Jonas Kaufmann.  PBS is still set to broadcast a number of other concerts from the series by such artists as Sonya Yoncheva, Bryn Terfel, Angel Blue, and Joyce DiDonato, among others.
