Pavol Breslik Appointed Bavarian Kammersänger

Pavol Breslik has been appointed Bavarian Kammersänger.

Following a preformance of “Die Entführung aus dem Serail” at the Bayerische Staatsoper, the tenor received the honor from the company’s director Nikolaus Bachler.

Breslik made his Bayerische Staatsoper debut in 2006 in a production of “Die Zauberflote” and has since performed 180 times at the theater in productions of “Lucrezia Borgia,” “La Traviata,” “Don Giovanni,” and “Maria Stuarda.”

The tenor has also performed at the Berlin State Opera, Metropolitan Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Salzburg Festival, Teatro alla Scala, La Monnaie, Aix-en-Provence Festival, Opernhaus Zurich, Royal Opera House, and Théâtre du Châtelet, among others.

This summer performances in Munich in productions of “Salome” and “Macbeth as well as a gala concert.
