Pavel Černoch & Veronica Simeoni Highlight Teatro dell’Opera di Roma’s Streaming Week

The Teatro dell’Opera di Roma has announced three new titles for its “Teatro Digitale.”

The first stream will be Berlioz’s “La damnation de Faust” from the 2017-18 season. The production, which won the Premio Abbiati della critica musicale italiana, was directed by Damiano Michieletto and conducted by Music Director Daniele Gatti. The production stars Pavel Černoch as Faust, Alex Esposito as Méphistophélès, Veronica Simeoni as Marguerite, and Goran Jurić as Brander.

Streaming Dates: May 26-29, 2020

The second stream will be “The Nutcracker” by Tchaikovsky. The production by Giuliano Peparini dates from the 2015-16 season and stars Alessandra Amato, Rebecca Bianchi, Michele Satriano, and Claudio Cocino.

Streaming Dates: May 27-30, 2020

The final stream of the week will be “Waiting for the Sibyl” from William Kentridge, with music by Kyle Shepherd.
