Patrick Bessenbacher, Nicole Heinen, Rachel Kobernick & Jake Stamatis Lead Park City Opera’s Summer 2026 Season

Park City Opera has announced its Summer 2026 season.

Benjamin Beckman conducts and Lisl Wangermann directs Aaron Copland’s “The Tender Land” at Temple Har Shalom. Rachel Kobernick and Lena Goldstein share the title role of Laurie, with David Silvano as Martin, Joseph O’Shea as Top, Laura Zahn as Ma Moss, and Erik Danielson as Grandpa Moss.

Performance Dates: July 18 & 19, 2026


Benjamin Beckman conducts and Lisl Wangermann directs Charles Gounod’s “Roméo et Juliette” at the Eccles Center for the Performing Arts, marking the company’s debut at Park City’s premier theater. Patrick Bessenbacher sings Roméo with Nicole Heinen as Juliette, Jake Stamatis as Mercutio, and Kevin Spooner as Frère Laurent.

Performance Dates: August 21 & 23, 2026


New for Summer 2026, the company launches “Opera Around the World,” a free seven-week outdoor concert series at the City Park Bandstand, produced in partnership with Mountain Town Music. Programs explore vocal repertoire from the Americas, Italy, Peru, Austria, Great Britain, and France.

Performance Dates: July 13 – August 24, 2026 (Mondays)
