Tulsa Opera has announced its 2021-22 season which includes two Oklahoma premieres and three new productions.

First up, the company will present “Gianni Schicchi” and Verdi’s “Greatest Hits” at ONEOK Field. The production will star Rachel Blaustein, Emily Pulley, Julius Ahn, and Danielle Pastin. Conductor Oriol Sans will conduct while James Robinson will direct.

Performance Date: Oct. 15, 2021

Next up will be Picker’s “Emmeline” starring Maria Natale, Aaron Crouch, Kenneth Overton, Leona Mitchell, Nathan Stark, Jennifer Roderer, Andrew Potter, and Sam Briggs. Francesco Cilluffo conducts while Tara Faircloth directs.

Performance Date: Feb. 25 & 27, 2022

Richard Strauss’ “Salome” will star Patricia Racette in the title role alongside Anthony Dean Griffey, Katharine Goeldner, Wayne Tigges, Noah Stewart, and Randall Scotting, among others.

Peter Ash conducts a production by Thaddesu Strassberger.
