Patricia Petibon, Philippe Jaroussky Headline June 2024 Programming at La Seine Musicale

La Seine Musicale is set to present two vocal showcases this June.

First up is “Patricia Petibon, Magicienne Baroque” on June 10, 2024. Joined by the Ensemble Amarillis under Héloïse Gaillard, the soprano will take on works by Rebel, Charpentier, Marais, Leclair, and Rameau. Starting at 8 p.m. local time, the concert has a duration of 100 minutes with an intermission.

Then on June 14, La Seine Musicale presents “Le Grand Concert de l’Académie Jaroussky.” The concert features a wide range of instrumental music but also numerous opera and vocal excerpts. Tenor Antonin Rondepierre will sing “Dalla sua Pace” from “Don Giovanni,” while soprano Elsa Roux-Chamoux takes on “Così fan tutte’s” “Come scoglio.”

Following the intermission, countertenor Philippe Jaroussky will sing an excerpt from “Il Giustino” by Vivaldi, while soprano Julie Goussot sings “Dis-moi que je suis belle” from “Thaïs.”

The concert has a duration of three hours.
