Paolo Petrocelli Joins World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders Class of 2023

It has been announced that arts administrator Paolo Petrocelli has been named as one of the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders, joining the Class of 2023.

Since its establishment in 2004, Young Global Leaders has recognized some of the most influential figures under 40, with new members undergoing a three-year program to further their ability to create global impact in the fields of politics, business, science, culture, sports, media, and more. They attend YGL events as well as the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting.

The only Italian nominee, and one of six in the arts sector, Petrocelli is the Founder and President of EMMA for Peace (Euro-Mediterranean Music Academy), one of the world’s leading non-profits for promoting peace and diplomacy through music and education, as well as the Founder and Honorary President of the Italian Youth Association for UNESCO, and Cultural Dipomacy Officer for the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates. As professor, researcher, and manager of cultural and performing arts Petrocelli has worked with organizations such as the United Nations, European Commission, Rome Opera House, and the band Coldplay. In February, he began his tenure as the Head of the Dubai Opera House.
