Palm Beach Opera Announces ‘Salon Series’ for 2025

Palm Beach Opera has announced its new “Salon Series” for 2025.

The series will take place on Jan. 12, Feb. 9, and March 23, 2025 at the Royal Poinciana Chapel’s Sea Gull Cottage. All of the performances commence at 3 p.m.

The programs will feature three Bailey Apprentice Artists alongside pianist Gregory Ritchety as they take on music by Schubert, Debussy, and Vaughan Williams.

“The Salon Series recalls the beautiful 19th-century tradition of musical evenings gathered around a piano, hearing poetry set to song,” said James Barbato, General Director of Palm Beach Opera, per an official press release. “We are thrilled for our Bailey Apprentice Artists to further enrich the vibrant concert life of this community with these special recitals at the Sea Gull Cottage, a venue that perfectly showcases this exquisite repertoire.”
