The Palau de les Arts in Valencia, Spain is set to perform a production of Handel’s “Ariodante.”

The opera, which is set to be performed in a production by Richard Jones, will be conducted by Andrea Marcon.

The cast will include Luca Tittoto as the King of Scotland, Ekaterina Vorontsova in the title role, Jane Archibald as Ginevra, David Portillo as Lurcanio, Christophe Dumaux as Polinesso, Jacquelyn Stucker as Dalinda, and Jorge Franco as Odoardo.

The production, which was originated at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, is a co-production with Dutch National Opera & Ballet, Canadian Opera Company, and Lyric Opera of Chicago.

“Ariodante” is set to be performed three times from March 1 to 6, 2022.
