Pacific Symphony Unveils 2024-25 Season

The Pacific Symphony has announced its 2024-25 season, which is also music director Carl St. Claire’s 35th anniversary with the ensemble. Here is a rundown of vocal performances on offer.

There will be a performance of Händel’s “Messiah.” Christopher Warren-Green conducts.

Performance Dates: Dec. 8, 2024

Larissa Martinez and Joshua Bell headline “Voice & The Violin. Carl St. Clair conducts the performance.

Performance Dates: Feb. 13, 2025

Carl St. Clair conducts the Pacific Chorale in “Carmina Burana” and Lauridsen’s “O Magnum Mysterium.” Soloists include Alisa Jordheim, Nicholas Phan, and Hugh Russell. Also on the program is Bach’s Keyboard Concerto in D minor, BWV 1052.

Performance Dates: Feb. 27 – 28, 2025

There will be a separate performance of “Carmina Burana” with the same soloists.

Performance Dates: March 2, 2025

Carl St. CLaire conducts a performance of Wagner’s “Das Rheingold.” Brian Staufenbiel directs the production.

Performance Dates: April 10-15, 2025

There will be a few performances of Verdi’s Requiem with Carl St. Clair conducting. The orchestra is joined by the Pacific Chorale. Soloists will be announced at a later date.

Performance Dates: June 5-8, 2025
