Oxford Lieder & Internationale Liedkonzerte Berlin Team Up for Special Festival

Oxford Lieder has announced a new collaboration with the Internationale Liedkonzerte Berlin.

The two organizations will come together to present a three-day festival in Kühlhaus Berlin.

The opening day concert will be headlined by mezzo-soprano Caitlin Hulcup alongside violinist Johnathan Stone and pianist Sholto Kynoch. The showcase will feature music by Argento, Britten, Rebecca Clarke, Spohr, Wolf, Ippolitov-Ivanov, Villa-Vobos, Francis, and Saint-Saëns.

Performance Date: Nov. 19, 2021 

Baritone Dietrich Henschel and pianist Axel Bauni will perform a song concert dedicated to the music of Dessau, Eisler, Blacher, and Mendelssohn.

Performance Date: Nov. 20, 2021

Soprano Philipp Mathamann and pianist Gerg Amelung will lead a concert featuring songs by Carl Philip Emanuel Bach, Haydn, and Mozart.

Performance Date: Nov. 20, 2021 

Baritone Martin Häßler and pianist Sholto Kynoch will perform music by Mendelssohn and Schumann.

Performance Date: Nov. 21, 2021

Soprano Sarah Wegener and pianist Götz Payer will perform music by Strauss, Schreker, Eisler, Korngold, and Weill, among others.
