Orquesta y Coro de la Comunidad de Madrid Announces 2026-27 Season

The Orquesta y Coro de la Comunidad de Madrid has announced its 2026-27 season. Here are the vocal performances.

The season opens with Mahler’s Symphony No. 3 with Jennifer Johnston as the soloist and Alondra de la Parra conducting.

Performance Date: Oct. 6, 2026


Brahms’ “Der Sonnen Aufgang” will star Arantza Ezenarro, Silvia Tro Santafé, Filip Filipović, and Marko Mimica. Guy Braunstein conducts.

Performance Date: Nov. 24, 2026


Haydn’s “Misa en re menor” and Anton Bruckner’s Symphony No. 4 will be conducted by Marc Minkowski. The soloists will be Lydia Hoen Tjore, Lora Grigorieva, Bastien Rimondi, and Edward Jowle.

Performance Date: Feb. 23, 2027


Antonio Estévez’s “Cantata criolla” and Béla Bartók’s Concerto for Orchestra will be conducted by Diego Matheuz. The soloists are Jorge Puerta and Gustavo Castillo.

Performance Date: March 15, 2027


Emőke Baráth and Jan Antem will perform Poulenc’s “Gloria” and Fauré’s “Réquiem.” Jean-Claude Casadesus conducts.

Performance Date: April 12, 2027


Pablo González conducts music by Beethoven, Brahms, and Tchaikovsky.

Performance Date: May 11, 2027
