Orquesta Sinfonica De Navarra Announces Its 2019-20 Season

The Orquesta Sinfonica de Navarra has announced its 2019-20 season with a number of Spanish artists headlining. For this season announcement, we will only focus on the vocal performances.

Beatriz Díaz sings arias by Mozart and Beethoven alongside conductor Manuel Hernández-Silva. The Program also includes Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2.

Performance Dates: Dec. 12 & 13, 2019

Raquel Andueza sings Montsalvatge’s Cinco Canciones Negras while violinist Ellinor D’Melon performs Lalo’s Symphony Espagnole. Debussy and Joaquín Turina also appear on the program with Manuel Hernández-Silva conducting.

Performance Dates: Jan. 16 & 17, 2020

Alfonso Mújica sings Mahler’s Lieder and Christian Vásquez conducts Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 1.

Performance Dates: April 16 & 17, 2020

Alessandro Scotto di Luzio and José Antonio López perform Puccini’s “Messa di Gloria.” The program also includes Teresa Catalán’s world premiere “El canto de Atenea.” Manuel Hernández-Silva conducts.

Performance Dates: June 4 & 5, 2020
