Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León Announces Fall 2021-22 Season

Spain’s Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León has announced the first half of the 2021-22 season from September to December.

Karina Demurova and Juan de la Rubia will perform the only vocal concert of the fall season with music by Saint-Saëns and Pauline Viardot-García. Vassily Sinaisky conducts.

Performance Dates: Nov. 4-6, 2021

The season will also see such distinguished artists as Victor and Luis de Valle, Daniel Müller-Schott, Roberto González-Monjas, Andreas Ottensamer, Akiko Suwanai, and Giancarlo Guerrero. Conductors will Pablo Gonzalez, Chloé van Soeterstède, and Roberto González-Monjas.

The season will include music by Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, Glinka, Ravel, Saariaho, Stravinsky, and Wagner, among others. The second part of the season will be announced at a later date.
