Orquesta Sinfónica Camera Musicae has announced that it will perform Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 Op. 125 “Choral,” on Sept. 20 and 21, 2020.

The performance on Sept. 20 will be held at the Kursaal de Manresa, while the presentation on Sept. 21 will take place at the Palau de la Música Catalana.

The OSCM also announced that the famed choral “Ode to Joy” in the fourth movement, based on the text by Friedrich von Schiller, will be performed by soprano Marta Mathéu, mezzosoprano Tànit Bono, tenor Marc Sala, and baritone Josep-Ramon Olivé.

The Cor Orfeó Català will also make an appearance during this performance. Conductor Tomàs Grau will be on the podium.
