Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria Announces 2025-26 Season

The Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria has announced its 2025-26 season with the theme Déjate sorprender. Here are the vocal performances for the season.

Karel Mark Chichon conducts works by Artola, Albéniz, Alvarez, Bizet, Penella, Pérez Chovi, Ribate, and Sarasate. Soloists include Paco Candela and Celia Jiménez.

Performance Date: Sept. 19, 2025

Óliver Díaz conducts the X Concurso Internacional de Canto Alfredo Kraus.

Performance Date: Sept. 27, 2025

Kateryna Kasper, Adèle Chervet, Raoul Steffani, and Fernando Campero perform Bach’s “St John Passion.” Karel Mark Chichon conducts.

Performance Dates: March 5 & 6, 2026

Airam Hernández is the soloist in a program that includes music by Chabrier, Chausson, and Brahms. Holly Hyun Choe conducts.

Performance Date: April 10, 2026
