The Orquesta and Coro RTVE have announced their 2025-26 season. Here is a look at the vocal performances.

The Orquesta Sinfónica y Coro RTVE under Christoph König will perform Boulanger and Mahler. 

Performance Date: Oct. 9 & 10, 2025

Christoph König conducts Faure’s Requiem and Schiaffino’s “Metalepsis”

Performance Date: Oct. 17, 2025

Katerina Knezikova and Christian Immler lead Brahms’ Requiem with Jamie Martin conducting.

Performance Dates: Oct. 30 & 31, 2025

Sofía Gutiérrez joins Josep Gil Gil for music by Sibelius, Duparc, and Berg.

Performance Dates: Nov. 14, 2025

Christoph König conducts De Falla’s “La Vida Breve” with Carmen Solís, Cristina Faus, and Javier Tomé. The program also includes music by Soutullo with María Mezcle, Juan Manuel Cañizares, Antonio Najarro.

Performance Dates: Jan. 15 & 16, 2026

Andrés Salado conducts a program of music by Vaughan Williams, Macmillan, Elgar, and Haydn. Soloists include Anna Cabrero and Alejandro del Cerro.

Performance Dates: Jan. 29 & 30, 2026

Josep Caballé Domenech conducts music by Rimsky-Korsakov, Sanchez-Verdu, and Tchaikovsky. The mezzo-soprano will be announced at a later date.

Performance Dates: March 19 & 20, 2026

Christoph König, conducts Bach’s “St. Matthew Passion” with Lucía Martín-Cartón, Lucía Caihuela, Juan Sancho, and Ferrán Albrich.

Thomas Dausgaard conducts Beethoven’s “Missa Solemnis” with Rocío Pérez, Carol García, Juan Noval, and Sreten Manojlovic.

Performance Dates: May 7 & 8, 2026

Christoph König conducts works by De Falla, Strauss, and Halffter. Soloists include Sonia De MuncK, Maite Beaumont, and Adam Kutny.
